This match was just a combination of a bit of bad luck and a poor performance. When the two come on the same day it’s not often you will take any points from the game.
All the positives of the week before were thrown out of the window and we looked a different team. We defended poorly all game as a team. Our midfield were almost invisible and when we did go forward there was no desire to join Graham and Paul.
I think pretty much everybody was below par but I will give a special mention to man of the match Paul Barber who worked tirelessly. This was Paul’s best game in a long time and he has shown how good he will be for us this season.
All the goals we conceded came from our own errors. The goal we scored was well taken by Graham after a goalmouth scramble.
There isn’t too much more to say so lets put this one behind us and be back up for the Moor Green game next week. They have proven to be a bit of a bogey side for us so we will need to be at our very best.
