Ok, let’s get the negative aspects out of the way. We cannot keep "switching off" for 10 minute periods of every game as it has cost us in the last 3 matches. We are learning the hard way that football is about complete concentration from start to finish.

The way we started the 2nd half completely bemused me, as we’d looked so comfortable for the first half hour.

On the positive front, we played, competed, and matched a free scoring side for the 1st 30 minutes and limited them to only a few half chances. I thought the midfield competed really well, and James, CJ and Sonny all got into goal scoring positions as they were asked to do.

Defensively, Dean had a great 1st half, well supported by Lewis, Dan and Niall.

The second half started off as a complete shambles, and we were 3-0 down before we’d even realised the game had re-started. Andy, Steve and Michael were introduced and the fresh legs seemed to raise our game once again.

On a bright note, it was great to see Ryan Stokes back to his very best. He thoroughly deserved his man of the match award after a string of excellent saves. Dean was solid throughout and Scott, Rob and Lewis battled to the very end.
